Black Friday at CVS

I was late getting to CVS this morning.  This is what I came home with.  I had $15 in ECB to begin with.  I paid $12.xx out of pocket and ended up with $34 in ECB!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010

A few years ago, the couponmom was challenged to a Thanksgiving meal for 30 people with a budget of $60.  This year, I gave myself a challenge to spend no more than $35 for the turkey, sides and desserts.  We had 14 adults, 2 teens, and 7 children.  However, the ice cream did me in.  My total was $36.21. 

Here are the breakdown:  22 pounds butterball turkey, (2) stove top, (2) gravy, (6) frozen veggies, 3 pounds of asparagus, cranberry sauce, (3) bags of sister schuberts rolls, 1 bag of potatoes, (2) pies, (2) whip cream, and 1 ice cream.

Many thanks to all family and friends who brought many goodies to share (ham, salad,  appetizers, desserts)
